According to latest study ,Pakistan is one of the top 10 countries in the world with the lowest access to clean water. In May 2018, the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources announced that by 2025, there will be very little or no clean water available in the country.

‌In Pakistan 844 million people are facing issues and are struggling to access life most important requirement. 60 % of the people are living in water stress areas. Pakistan needs 40 million acre feet of water but 29 million acre feet of our floodwater is wasted because we have few dams. Pakistan is approaching the scarcity threshold for water. scarcity is also triggering security conflicts in the country.
